Day 01

• Arrive in Kathmandu

• Greeted at airport with garlands of flowers
• Transfer to hotel to rest or enjoy free time in Nepal's capital

• Breakfast in hotel

• City tour of Durbar Square
  - Temple Kastamandap

  - The house of the living Goddess Kumari
  
• Swayambudnath temple (2000 years old)
• Tour of Pashupatinath Temple complex
• Lunch

• Visit Medieval City of Bhaktapur

• An excursion to the ancient City of Patan (299 AD)
  - Visit the Royal Palace (17th century)

  - Krishna temples
  - Hiranaya Varna
  - Mahavir Mahabudda
  - Mangal Bazaar
• O/N in Kathmandu
  

Day 03

• Breakfast at hotel

• Drive to the lakeside town of Pokhara (820m) via picturesque 6 hour drive ~200 km)

• Check into hotel

• Boat ride on Pokhara's Lake Fewa & visit to island Barahi temple

• Free night in Pokhara

Day 04

• Breakfast at hotel

  Fly to Jomsom (2700m, about 30 minute flight) through Kali Gandaki the deepest gorge in the world*

• After a short rest, trek to Kagbeni (about 3-5 hours' walk) a medieval fortress city at an altitude (2900 meters)

• Lunch enroute

• O/N in Kagbeni

Day 05

• Breakfast

• Trek to Clause Chele (about 5 - 6 hours)

• Lunch enroute
• O/N in Clause Chele

Day 06

• Breakfast

• Trek to Sangboche (3800 meters, about 7 hours)
  - See cave "Ronbung Chorten"

• Lunch enroute
• O/N in Sanboche

Day 07

• Breakfast

• Trek to Saranga (3500 meters, about 6-7 hours)

• Lunch enroute
• O/N in Saranga

Day 08

• Breakfast

• Trek to the city of Lo-Manthang - the capital of Mustang (about 4 hours)

• Lunch
• Free time in Manthang
  

Day 09

• Breakfast

• Lo-Manthang sightseeing
  - Tugchen Monastery
  - Temple Champa (1420)
  - Chodey Monastery

• O/N in Manthang

Day 10

• Breakfast

• Trek to Ghami

• Lunch enroute
• O/N in Ghami

Day 11

• Breakfast

• Trek to Samar

• Lunch enroute
• O/N in Samar

Day 12

• Breakfast

• Trek to Chosang

• Lunch enroute

Day 13

• Trek to Jomsom

• Fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara*

• Free time in Kathmandu for shopping (Thamel), relaxing or exploring

• Night - a traditional Nepali dinner with Nepalese dances

- Flight to Kathmandu or airport taxes

- All personal expenses such as drinks, mineral water or tips

- It is possible to offer services by Russian speaking tour guides outside the Kathmandu Valley at extra charge

*Because departure of flights between Jomsom and Pokhara are dependant on weather, we recommend that you plan a few extra days in Nepal, in order to allow for possible weather delays
